Growth Mindset

Striving to be a teacher, I really enjoyed these pieces. I felt it was great information that I had never heard or thought of before, but made complete sense. The idea of changing how we encourage students in such a small way making such a huge impact was crazy for me to watch and learn about. I think I will keep this information with me not only through my semester but also for when I become a teacher and how I interact with my students.

  1. I was so amazed when I heard of "Growth Mindset" for the first time earlier this year. After reading more and more into the subject I truly believe all public school teachers should go through a Mindset training. The growth mindset is such a small gesture with a huge payout I truly believe.
I hope you take your knowledge of the mindsets and use to your advantage in your teaching aspirations and maybe even share with other aspiring teachers!

  2. I like how you enjoy the growth mindset just as much as me. I like you are passing it along to your students, and teaching them something that isn't in the ancient book teachings. I actually work at Kumon as an instructor, and I also follow by teaching my kids the growth mindset. I would love to hear some of the ideas you have to teach your students with.
