·
A giant monkey ruled over 80,000 monkeys in the
mountains.
·
They had a tree that was beautiful with blossoms
in spring and lovely fruit that none could compare to.
·
The monkey’s loved the tree and the fruit it
gave and the shade it gave during the hot days.
·
The monkey told them to be careful to not let
the fruit fall in the river and get carried to the city because people will see
and come looking for the amazing fruit.
·
One piece of fruit was hidden by a nest ad fell
and floated down to the city.
·
The king of the city was swinging and floating in
the river when the fruit floated into a fishing net nearby.
·
The fisherman showed the king and he marveled at
its beauty.
·
He asked everyone trying to find the tree it
came from.
·
They tasted and realized it was the best fruit
ever.
·
He finally said it needed to be found after
dreaming about it. He got in a boat with his men and went to go find it.
·
They got to the tree only to see the army of
monkeys waiting for them.
·
The king told his men to surround them and at
night they will shoot them and eat their meat and fruits.
·
The monkeys heard their plans to overtake them and
told their leader.
·
He offered to jump from one side of the river to
the other side and attach a vine so it would work as a bridge.
·
He went to jump and the reed was not long
enough.
·
He
grabbed a branch and told the other monkeys to climb over his back onto the
reed.
·
The monkey got injured and was passing away
·
The other king gave him encouraging words as he
passed away.
·
The other king created a temple to honor and
mourn his death.
