Story Planning: The Sacrifice of a Great Leader

Story Planning: Final Paragraph(s)
The King ran over to where king Robert had crashed to the ground. He grabbed his body and held him close as he showed him his gratitude and respect from one king to the next. He asked King Robert why he would sacrifice his life for his tribe. King Robert turned his head and said, “ They are my people, they trusted me with their life and what king am I if I could have saved them and didn’t?” With his final breathe he closed his eyes and his soul left his body and grief was stricken for miles and miles.
The King made sure his legend lived on. He created museums and monuments everywhere he could to show his gratitude and respect for the fallen leader. He promised King Robert that he would never let his story fade and he would always tell people about the huge sacrifice that he made to save his people. From then on the King promised to live out his reign just as King Robert would have, selfless and Respectful.

Notes: I think I want tell the story as if it was a tribe and another king rather than a monkey. As fun as that idea is I think the acknowledgement from one king to the next would be a great story line that I could rally go places with. Once I complete the first story then I can see myself going on to tell how the other king changed and started treating his people in his land. With everything political going on right now I thought it would be good to see a political side where all of the hate that was in the kings heart is changed and from the death of another great king he rises to the occasion and finishes out his reign as a respectful and selfless king.
